I just wanted to say that Sony is Back!

It has been such a joy to work with these very kind people from Japan. They are helping us on the ATSC 3.0 tuners that are second to none in quality and performance. Oops I should not of said that, since now they will raise their prices. They won't because they are very honorable people!

From our last meeting here in Madison they presented us with an off-air Antenna that works well indoors. The best I have tested!
We look forward to distributing these antennas and possible other products as well.  The new Crystal TV's are really nice and most important the natural color tones which they produce is a welcome to the industry. It's great to see some old technology be re-purposed into newer technology.

I cannot emphasis how professional they are. It has been a real pleasure working with them.

I hope you support them as much as they will support you!

My Best,

Jeff Schumann

I have filed a grievance over this so-called alliance with the FCC and Congress. These are foreign companies that are playing God with our bandwidth. Not sure what is going to come from it. But we need the consumers input and nothing is being allowed in regards to this discussion. There are over 300,000 C Band users in this country and their voice is not being heard!

So I think we should start a petition and have the users sign it.

My Senator is really helpful and understands where we are coming at.

Let me know your thoughts on this.

Regards,

Jeff Schumann

The Media Network for the Future: Introducing Galaxy 30

FROM: INTELSAT.COM
11 January 2018

By Kurt Riegelman, Intelsat’s Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Communications

Whether your household was cheering ‘Roll Tide!’ or ‘Go Dawgs!’ last week, you were one of the 28.4 million people benefiting from Intelsat’s North America Galaxy Fleet, the most efficient media distribution system in North America.  Last week, Intelsat announced the first in a series of orders that will see this fleet replaced with a third generation of technology that will bring advanced media distribution capabilities to television programmers in North America. This is the beginning of a multi-satellite investment program that will offer our customers a technology path for media distribution throughout the next decade. Galaxy 30, which represents the first of many satellites to be built under our North America fleet replacement plan, demonstrates our commitment to ensuring C-band services continue to be the go-to media distribution technology for years to come.  Here’s why:

Our satellite fleet simultaneously delivered the National College Championship game to millions of homes in America. No other technology allows consumers to simultaneously watch programming that is ‘five nines’ reliable, with the highest quality and without annoying buffering issues. This is why preserving C-band spectrum is vital and we are committed to ensuring our customers can continue to provide quality programming without fear of interference from wireless services. During the past 30 years, we have .......
