Got the DMS Avenger LNB today  grin

DMS Avenger
compaired to
ESX522 Standard Dual Out Linear 0.2dB LNB, 70-75dB Gain

set up on my DTV slimline conversion

ESX522 LNB
tweaked at
SI 88%
Q bounced at 51-60%

DMS Avenger
tweaked at
SI 88%
Q bounced at 53-60%
and seams a bit easier to find than ESX522 did an not as touchy to stay on sat.

also the marks are WRONG!
with the coax pointing down from the LNB (and not to the right if using the marks) I got signal pretty quick!

Yes same issues with the Avenger with the markings being totally wrong. I still say your best in a KU only LNB is the ESX line that Hyper also carries.

Thanks HYper for being able to test them out.

Yeah, I have my Avenger hooked up now as well and seems to be doing 1-2%Q on average  better than the Pasat LNB that came with my 36" dish.

Tnx guys for the info, I was wondering about the marks, also.  I thought it would be rather difficult to put 2 of them close together, as in 97 and 101, if you had to turn the coax to the approx. 3 o'clock position.   Tnx again, I haven't tried them yet but soon.  El_Viejo
