You may want to try this file if you are not already running it.
Pansat released an update to the 9500 on August 8. EB

Thanks EB, just checked its got the 8/8/11 333 version file in it as i received it.

Shows bootloader as 7/15
Main as 8/8
Sat & TP Data as 5/23
Background as 4/13
i have the 9500 pansat receiver best receiver i ever had the only
thing i find when going to set up menu put in your satt you want the lnb and switch port then go to satt search ot the bottom of sat search is a port shows the port you are on this port never changes always on port 1 no matter what port you use in set up menu. does not affect the port operation in the receiver dont know why it shows a port setting that does nothing port is outlined in blue

Yes The Pansat 9500 HDX does the RTV H264 Video & AAC/DTS audio Mux without issues.

i have 2 Pansat 9500 HDX they are very stable receivers all the way.  Cool

I have no problem setting switch ports on my Pansat vze. I have a 4x1 switch on it right now and have sats set at ports 1, 2, and 3 and it saves them and i never have a problem with that at all.

 huh

My son Evan, taken from his family and friends, hit by a truck on March 26, 2010 at the age of 15, 3 days after his birthday. We love you and miss you Evan. We will see you again soon in heaven. I miss you son. You were the best son a dad could have. I am so proud of you. Save a place for me.
