AMC1 @ 103.0W Ku  DVB-S, DVB-S2 Full Scan 121909

Scanned in tonight but I have been on this sat for days, and scanned it several times. The scrambled channels are marked. The NBC Feeds are all over the place in DVB-S2 and most in HD. These are feeds but you can always find something on 1 or 2 of them, and sometimes 6 or 7 at a time. You'll need a DVB-S2 capable receiver for these.

The only channels not feeds, always in the clear are Universal Sports, and The Pentagon Channel but if you like NBC this is a good sat to be on. The major shows (late show, morning show, etc.. are always on, you can catch news feeds almost always, even msnbc. Sunday Night Football, etc.. Radio is at the bottom of the list

I can't check because my dish isn't motorized, but the last time I looked at 103W I didn't get the JR/YM Music, NuMix, and Flower Show.  They're supposed to be on 105W.

I can't find my notes on the Microspace audio channels at the moment, but I'll post what I identified when I do.

I just double checked Jim S. and the radio list is accurate for 103.0W. No chance im receiving 105.0W. That said, I dont hear anything on those 3 radio channels. The Microspace radio i assume is just audio from the tv channels but let me know what you know when you find your notes.

great post on 103w i see what im missing out on for the hd stuff. in the 29,000 range symbol rate.

you pretty much nailed it on the tp's you listed i just cant see hd yet.  but want to go that route.  i see a lot of stuff in non hd  of course im aiming at 6 sats and like 103w 99w also has a crap load of tp active non hd  and some hd .

when i blindscan 91w and 99w  i can get some tp that when i play them i can see its hd i just cant see hd

i don't have a hd tv yet lol and my pansat3500 dont do hd lol

but still seems blindscan tp's that appear to be hd to me. by the symbol rate on the 29.000 range also i somtimes get symbol rates in the 13.000 range that can be either hd or no hd that is i can somtimes see stuff where other times with the same symbol rate i cant cause its hd. broadcast but on the 29,000 range i never see anythin i can tell its sports though i can hear sound if i mess with it.

on 103w when i blindscan i dont get
11839 H 29998 SD DVB-S2 QPSK
11759 H 29998 HD DVB-S2 QPSK
11870 H 29998 HD DVB-S2 QPSK

of course im not gonna get those with a pannie 3500 am i? until i get a pannie 9200 or cw4000 those are the 2 ive been thinking about. one day.

Yep, those 3 are pretty much all the DVB-S2 channels on that sat. The Pansat 3500 wont get those you need the Pansat 9200HD or anything that does DVB-S2. The CW4000 i hear good things but never seen one myself.

OK, here's what the generic-named radio stations were the last time I was on 103W.

MS61 is Triangle Radio Reading Service.
MS81, and the soundtrack to MS91, is WCPE (TheClassicalStation.org)
Radio1 (or on a Coolsat, SVC_1 Channel) is WGCN - God's Country, Nashville.

Jim S., gumby 68 you guys are right, i stand corrected. JR/YM Music, Flower Show, NuMix do not belong in my list. I found these were there somehow from and old scan. I corrected the original post. Thanks you guys for checking my work, its important to me to be accurate. Jim S., i added your notes into the original post too.

Thanks for having my back you guys and keep up the good work.
