I have had a few people ask me about Video Modulation on SatHint.com. How do you know if a channel is DVB-S QPSK or DVB-S2 8pSK, etc..
So i put this together to show people how to find that out.
SatHint.com is made to get the information you need together quickly. We dont put that on individual channel listing because it just clutters up those pages. The fact is video modulation goes by transponder, not channel. So therefore, we dont list this for each channel, but for each transponder.
For example. Lets say you are looking at AMC21 at 125.0W, at this link:
http://www.sathint.com/amc-21You would see this below:

Now here in this view you get the channel listing. Now click the "Show Transponder List" button where the red arrow points.
You will now see the transponder listing and video modulation is shown for each transponder. It will look like this:
http://www.sathint.com/amc-21?list=transponders
There you go. You know have the video modulation.
