Thank you for posting the files! I was going to try and link to the support page on the Titanium website, but wasn't sure of how to format the link. Still learning my way around the site...  grin

Designed this unit to do things that I have always wanted for my own system.

Not done designing it yet! If you have any ideas of features or functions that you would like in a controller, post them up! I will do my best to make the ASC1 the best that it can be!

A USB port.

I'm going to need to dig through my junk closet and see if I even have a RS-232 serial cable.  I know I have a serial to USB cable like that used for the Trimax SM-3500 meter.

I agree! That suggestion will go on the short list.

How many design changes can you make when Hyper posted earlier in this thread "From the manufacturer" saying "Product Available November 2013" ???   ::thinking

Update:
The ASC1 will be in our warehouse tomorrow and shipping to customers on Monday.

I am busy developing new features based on hobbyist's suggestions! A new firmware file will be released after Christmas. This firmware version provides a few new features including an operation screen that will display all control functions on a single screen. The user will also be provided an option to save directly from the operation screen any positioner or the skew adjustments without entering the ASC1 or STB's menus.

Just posted an overview video of the current ASC1 menus and automatic operation.

Testing the new firmware version for the next few days. Looks great! Will be posting up to the Titanium Satellite Support page on Monday. Also updating the Loader / Editor PC software to add additional functions.

While the ASC1 will work fine out of the box, I would highly recommend that the new firmware update be installed. Very nice default operation screen that shows you everything that is going on!

The ASC1 Owners Manual version 1 is now available for downloading or online viewing. This is a living document that will be updated as we add new features and functions via firmware updates.

How does the pulse count compare to the V Box? The G Box?

Much better I'm sure. I have never used a Gbox or a Vbox, because I need polarity control. Looking at the specs on the ASC1, it appears that it has a 10,000 count capacity (+5,000 to -5,000). That seems to be as good or better resolution to a 4DTV receiver. Complete specs are available in the support section of the Titanium website.

Doing a quick search around the web, i do not see a spec listed for pulse count for the V Box or G Box anywhere.

Anywhoo, what i really wanted to post about is that i will have my ASC-1 Positioner here next week!

Its on the way to me now, and i am super excited to get it and play with it.

I have been watching the video that Titanium posted (above) over and over so i know how it works once i get it.
