I just scanned these in using the Geosatpro HDVR3500 Receiver

Someone told me it would do it, and i just tried and no problem at all!

I am told that you need a receiver that is capable of ACM, so apparently the HDVR3500 is.

Yes. Just re-scanned them in. That said I had to be exactly on the mark. Had to peak the dish before they would scan. 4140 V 30000. Have a great day!

Hey guys, can someone confirm these are still there?

I have a customer in deep south west of Texas that has an 8 ft dish that can not pick these up on a Geosatpro HDVR3500.

Anyone in that area have any info on the signal, is it too weak there for an 8 ft? etc..

Any info would be helpful.

The 4140 V 30000 Music Choice mux is coming in fine with a 3500 STB. The transponder is 16.4dB SNR with a 10 foot dish in N. California and an 8 foot dish is adequate size to attenuate the adjacent satellite frequency overlap as long as the feed is optimized.

How do other Vertical TP Signal Quality readings look on this bird for the customer?

Thank you Brian. I will ask him about the signal he has on the other V Transponders. What TP specifically is the adjacent satellite frequency overlap we need to be worried about here?

10rsatman had mentioned this but

these channels take a LONG time to load--sometime 30-45 seconds.

IOW they could be receiving them but think not.

123w has many vertical TP frequencies that overlap, but they are significantly weaker. 127w has two stronger vertical TP frequencies which window box 125w 4140 V and potentially could cause problems. If the feedhorn is not properly set, the sidelobes might not adequately attenuate 127w. I have merged a few screenshots from SatSigature to illustrate this.

When I tested this mux with the 3500 yesterday, the channels instantly appeared and played without any problems.

Thank you Titanium!  I learned something today thanks to you. Perhaps i need to spend some time looking at issues like this when i have problems with signals here, or when my customers do. Good to have a real expert like you here to help explain this kind of thing so thank you!

Just an FYI - the Music Choice channels are still up and ITC and working on the GEOSATpro HDVR3500 FTA Receiver.

104 channels scan in on this MUX
