I'm having a weird problem with the signals on Movies, Heroes and Decades on 101W. It affects two of my 3 receivers, the Azbox Me and the Openbox S9. Neither of them can stay locked on to the signal. On the Z5, I can watch them. It is worst on the Azbox Me and these channels aren't viewable at all. The internal meter shows a fluctuating Q level and the receiver is losing its lock on the signal every few seconds. I get the same on the S9 but it is not as bad. Every few seconds, the picture breaks up and gets pixelated. It started a couple of months ago with the Azbox and I thought it was just a problem with the receiver or the firmware until I found the same on the S9 this morning. On the Azbox Me, I'm getting some stuttering on the MeTv  SD feed as well but the HD feed is fine.

Anybody else seeing these signal fluctuations. These 3 channels are all very close in frequency and have the same SR.

Enough dishes to call it a garden, not enough to call it a farm.

10' steel mesh BUD, 1.2m Ku dish on a SG2100 horizon to horizon motor and 4 Ku dish conversions: A 36" Starband with a 5 lnbs, a 33" Slimline, a 28" Wildblue and a 28" Dish Turbo HD.

You aren't the only one reporting this. SatGuys has posts on it also.

I'm not having issues in mid-Michigan with a 10ft dish and orthomode feed, and MicroHD receiver though.

Hey , FTAGardener , not sure of your location , but do you think it might play into your problem ,... for a period of time ??  I'm in mid-Missouri , ( haven't posted results yet , want to wait a week ) Hereos , Decades and Movies  , watchable on a 5ft dish , the last 2 days , with no such problems . Just thinking some kind of interference in your area ??  Both X2 Premium and a Geosat MiniPro have same results .

The problem doesn't appear to be directly related to the dish size or feed type. The signals are showing with excellent SNR and BER on both my TBS 6983 card with EBSpro and the AI Turbo S2 meter. There are no decoding errors on the transponders and show high Signal Quality readings for the STBs that work. Other STBs either display rapidly fluctuating SQ or no lock at all.

To start a conversation on what receivers are experiencing problems with receiving these three channels, as of today (2pm PDT) the channels are reported to be playing fine without any break-up on these receivers:

HDVR3500
X2 M1HD
FreeSat V7
TBS6983
Tevii DVBS2
K1+
U4 Quad

Not Working on these receivers:

HDVR1200 - No Lock
DJ1997 - No Lock
Linkbox 8000 HD + Local
Linkbox 9000i HD
X2 Premium - No Lock
microHD - Fluctuating SQ and occasional momentary decoding
mini HD SE  - Fluctuating SQ and occasional momentary decoding
Linkbox 8000 HD Local [added after Hyper's post below]

If you are able to check these channels on your system, please report if they can be received and what receiver you are using.

I am no longer properly receiving Heroes, Decades, or Movies. They cut in and out, or stay dead. I haven't noticed issues on Metv as of yet.

Thank you for the list Titanium.

I can also confirm the Linkbox 8000 HD Local does not work.

Just tried it moments ago.

Scans them in, but signal goes from full to nothing, over and over, unwatchable.

Adding this to the list in your post.

Already listed my receivers earlier here , but have a couple questions .   From the info listed here , looks like I'd have less problems with my new 5' dish , dedicated to 101w , just for the 3 channels being discussed , ... If I had a receiver listed in green .   But  will I start having this same problem with other channels on other SATs , also ?   If so , could this have any thing to do with my recent loss of KRBK channels on 99w ?? Thanks , Joe

The 3 channels will not play on the Optibox Raptor. My Amiko Alien 2 can play them and the Amiko Mini HD SE can play them most of the time.
