Sorry guys, i have not been keeping up with this review thread very well.

Here is a look at the Weather App on the Manhattan RC-1978 HD

This is super easy to use!  You can set it to Farenheit or Celcius. Super easy to add cities, and not just major cities either. I have added 3 so far tonight Flint MI, Osprey FL, Springfield MO (took about 2 minutes to add these 3). Just type in the city name and hit OK and it finds every city with that name and lets you choose the correct one.

Check out the pics attached.

I like this feature for sure, AND it works great. Easy way to keep up to date with weather in a bunch of places at once. I will use it to track the weather of all my loved ones.

Of course you must have the receiver connected to the Internet either by Wifi or LAN. If you need to know how to do this go here:

My son Evan, taken from his family and friends on March 26, 2010 at the age of 15. We love you and miss you Evan. We will see you again soon in heaven. I miss you son. You were the best son a dad could have. I am so proud of you. Save a place for me.

How do they compare in blind scan performance (speed, thorough detection, etc...)

The Manhattan RC-1978 HD is faster than the Linkbox 9000i HD as far as blind scan.  Accuracy seems to me the same, they both find it all.

Go here for some real test results between the 2 receivers on blind scan time:
