This might interest a few around here. Especially you Hyper......

I mentioned a couple months back this would get here faster than people thought. Sometimes I can get the signal from there being just south of the Michigan line. Time to start shopping for a new ATSC 3.0 box.

EDIT......... WCIU in Chicago also lighting up with testing. They will use their future repack channel 23 until September 2019 (the date they are scheduled to switch to that channel because of the repack) For testing ATSC 3.0.  With this kind of scattered testing, Stations will be either forced to get on the train or get left behind. I see this like the invention of the "Horseless Carriage". Even though not mandated and expensive, Business switched for their deliveries from horses to trucks in short order. But that is just my humble opinion.

There are NO consumer-priced ATSC 3.0 tuners available in the USA. So, what does it matter, as the average person can't possibly benefit from this "test" until there are.

The testing of atsc to iptv has been don in a lot of area's around the country, but it looks like that testing is over now.  I was seeing over the air stations[atsc] showing up on my linkbox local beginning the end of 2017. but those are now gone[url open].  Seems the only place 3.0 is used now is in South Korea.  Jess out in California
