Greetings all, I'm a longtime "lurker", first time poster. I'm interested in getting into FTA radio to be able to pick up the NFL Playoff audio broadcasts. Surfing around online I've found that Westwood One has the rights to these games but everything I read says you need a large (12 ft or more) dish to pick them up. Are their feeds actually ITC, and if so do they really require a full size dish or is their hope with a smaller dish?

A simple Google search turned up this info (if it is still valid)?

C-Band Satellite: SES Americom 11 (SES-11)
 105 degrees West Longitude
Transponder: 17
 Downlink is vertically polarized
L-band receive frequency 01121000 kHz
Symbol Rate 9259574 sps
FEC (Forward Error Correction) 3/4

Most of the sports programming from WWO is distributed on their Wegener system which is at 4043.0.  I'm using a 10' solid dish and it works just fine.

Hey cpalmer2k. Glad you posted. I personally do not know where there are Radio Audio only FTA feeds for the NFL Playoffs, but you can always find the FOX and NBC broadcasts on Galaxy 16, or the NBC broadcasts on SES 11 or AMC 15 and watch/listen to the game there. Or if you ONLY want audio, feed the audio to a stereo.

Scanning SES 11 (Blind Scan) for Radio channels and i have scanned in 418 Radio channels! I think maybe something duplicated, i am checking into this.

But i did get a bunch of Radio channels at TP 4110 V 7135 << Tons of channels scan in on this TP some sports related like Dan Patrick show, but many others NBC, FOX, Coast to Coast, all sorts of stuff. I do not see Westwood One

I did scan in the 4043 TP suggested by AE6CH, it has a S/R of 10125 but no audio right now during the Chiefs/Colts game.

Scans in as "DG TX Prog."

Edit: My posted information was incorrect. The 4043 suggested by AE6CH seems to be correct now.

I'll poke around on my Wegeners and see if I can get a PID list.

Couldn't find a PID list, but here is a list of all the channels and schedules.  I assume the channel # is not the PID.  Don't forget the tabs at the bottom.

Code:
http://technology.westwoodone.com/content/Starguide_Schedule.htm

(not sure why this says Starguide,. this is most certainly the Wegener schedule, and we don't use Starguides anymore).

Older channel list:
Code:
http://technology.westwoodone.com/New_Receiver_Files/Channel%20Assignments.pdf
