My son Evan. I miss you son.

OK. I have everything that AE6CH posted in his list above,

plus a whole lot more on the 3720 V 5556 mostly all Sports, College, Pro, CBS, etc.. many many channels.

Then a bunch more on TP 4028 V 9260, and also 3715 V 1852, and 3706 V 3333

812 in all and no or few duplicates.

Unfortunately, i do not know of a way to make a list with the HDVR3500 that i can post (i tried it exports as a .bin file), and it's just too many to make a list manually.

The LRN Radio Music channels all work really great, these are nice to have.

I do see some WWO (West Wood One?) channels in the list but they are news related and playing no audio as of now.

I will post a few screen shots shortly.

Can someone confirm if any of those are playable? It looks like the Wegener receivers use an entirely different structure. Dial Global is the way Westwood One used to brand their sports so that is definitely the right place.

Download the file in the link and you will see.

Code:
MIO_105W_Radio_Demo1_20190113_1641.mp4  (323.5 MB)
https://mega.nz/#!Pg9SRQLL!APQ-3235xsA7E7k4JjMVqKmdOTatcRpVSz_Qcw8KQeQ

Perfect. Thank you for that! So do you still think the HDVR3500 is a good fit? And, any chance of reliable reception on a 2.4m dish or will I need larger than I planned? It looks like the last three digits of the PID are the Westwood One channel numbers?

Also, Hyper it looks like you successfully found the ESPN Radio mux and the JMI Sports Mux (They're uplinked by SkyView) in those screenshots.

The HDVR3500 is a good receiver, but when it comes to these radio services on 105 West, I have not seen anything that can beat a card or enigma2 receiver. Most closed source receivers do good to get a few of the channels that are available on 105 West. So the HDVR3500 easily outperforms most other closed source receivers on this satellite.

Enigma2 receivers and tuner cards such as TBS 5925 do not have limits on the number of services that can be received on a given transponder, and I assume this is why enigma2 receivers can scan a lot more of these services than closed source receivers. Every enigma2 receiver that I own can scan these radio services and return numbers in the thousands. But only a few enigma receivers can play these thousands of radio services. The Edision MIO is one of the few that seems to play all that it finds on this satellite.

I cannot answer whether the HDVR3500 will do what you are looking for with these audio services. All I can tell you is my HDVR3500 found over 1,000 services tonight while my MIO found 2,771 services. Neither receiver seems to have any duplicates. Earlier the MIO had at least 700 duplicates, but that appears to be from a transponder change. A fresh scan cleared the duplicates in the MIO.

The HDVR3500 gets about 17 audio tracks for the  DG TX Prog located at 4043V  10128. The Edision MIO gets 48 audio tracks for this single radio service. The HDVR3500 scanned the whole satellite in less than 15 minutes while the MIO took 134 Minutes  36 Seconds. The MIO found a lot more, but it took a lot longer.

In the past, I have been able to get most of these radio services when they were on another satellite using a dish that was around 2.3 meters in diameter. Where you are located will dictate what dish size you need, but I would say 2.3 meters in diameter would be the minimum for anywhere in the lower 48 U.S.

Attached is a screencap of the 3500 right before it completes the 105 scan. This receiver is not very friendly on showing what it finds as compared to the MIO.

Also attached are few more scans of 105W using the Edision MIO. A transponder scan of 4029V  9259 returned 1,109 services for a single transponder. I have never seen that many services on a single transponder anywhere else in the world.

Just curious has anyone on the East coast ever tried to pull these in on a 4í offset dish with a dual ku/c band lnb? Iím guessing it will be a no go, but Iíd like some real life experiments to help me narrow down the best dish size that will receive it. I donít think I can get away with any bigger than a 6í at my location
