I was able to make it to the hamfest in Columbus this year. Weather was cool but clear for a change. It was a pretty good hamfest as they go. Small in size but lots of goodies to look at. Plenty of good food provided by the club xyls a big plus was it was inside a nice warm building. There were a few hardy souls tailgating outside but after a couple hours they all pulled up stakes and called it a day. After makeing the rounds a few times and picking up some hard to find items we headed for home. Looking forward to the next round of hamfests this summer. For those interested the Dayton hamfest is coming up in May 20-22 should be one hellva show, it usually is.

I am ready for a Hamfest.. All of the listed are a bit far for me.. hmmm  I think most of the HamFests in the South are in the more temperate months... Otherwise the boneyards melt.
