Having trouble with password when logging on

Hello everyone, I am having trouble logging on. My problem is, the system says my password is invalid when I try to log on. Then another box pops up and I retype my password and it goes through. Is there a way to reset my password. Any help is appreciated. Thanks... mengram

near top center of any page click "profile"
then on left side click "Account Related Settings"

fill out 3rd block in center
Choose password:
For best security, you should use six or more characters with a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.
   
Verify password:

AND enter below that your current password in
Current Password:
For security reasons, your current password is required to make changes to your account.

same place.. but I can be logged in and go to the other and Im not 

make sure any SAVED password is correct in both as you log in

Thanks ftabrat, I changed my password, was asked if I wanted windows to save, clicked yes, logged off, shutdown and restarted windows and tried to log on to legalfta and got the same message, invalid password, another window opened retyped password and logged on. It seems like windows is not really storing my password.
