I have already begun testing the antenna's and so far everything is working great! I have a boat-load of channels. I have a few more tests to do (doing single market tests so far), then i will combine these 2 antennas and do final testing. Will keep everyone posted with results and pics as i go forward very soon.

Finished this project today, and me and my friends and family watched the Super Bowl on it this evening!

Everything is working great!

Will post pics of the finalized project tomorrow, god willing.

Here is a pic of the finished install.

First thing you will notice is i now have 2 of the RCA ANT751R VHF/UHF HDTV Yagi Antenna's.

Replaced the Supersonic 360 as the purpose of this project was to NOT have to rotate the antenna.

You can also see the Winegard Coupler and Pre-Amp in the pic

I will get some more pics tomorrow, pics i took today did not turn out well. And now it is dark.  LOL.

I am getting 63 channels from 2 different directions on this set-up.

I will post some more pics, and some more details in the next couple of days.

 Cool

Here is a couple of close up pics of my install.

Pic 1 - Under the top antenna is the Coupler, under the bottom antenna is the Pre-Amplifier

Pic -2 - The "anti-rotation" screw between the 2 pcs of fence post.

Did you have any trouble getting the antenna u-bolts to fit on the fence posts?   E_V

Not at all. It was a perfect fit.

Since seeing how i did my project, my father in law came home with 2 fence posts a couple days ago to do his the same way.

I intend on doing something similar ( OTA ) when the weather breaks. My situation
is this. Last fall, I put up a new antenna, ( HDBX91 ) on a rotor that is 30 plus years old,
that still works like new. I purchased the antenna from " Solid Signal ". Great people and
products by the way. And I'am able to pick up 37-40 channels from the Detroit metropolitan
area with the antenna pointed in one direction only, which is good, but. There is a channel
from Windsor, Ontario. Canada that is weak, which I want to receive. My idea is to either
put up a single channel antenna mounted to the mast on my broadband antenna using a
cantilever mounting with a winegard signal coupler cc-7870  with both antennas attached,
and a single downlead to the TV or, take a chance and use instead an LNA200.
I would rather use the channel 9 antenna method if I can get one. It seems like the big
companies do not make them anymore. I may have to make my own instead. It would have
to be a yagi cut for 186-192MHz. The frequency of CBET coming out of Windsor.  Doe's anyone
out there know a source to maybe buy one?. Or secondly, have a good drawing on one for
that VHF high channel?.  Thank you

Also, on another issue. Concerning Sat. TV. Probably in the fall, or sooner, I intend on
purchasing the Manhattan 1997 with the 36 inch dish from Hypers company. Thanks again. John
