Edision OS MIO 4K remote

I'm having trouble trying to enter the password for my wireless network using the remote.  I see all of the different shift positions for each key in the lower part of the screen but do not know how to select the ones that I need.

Repeatedly press the key that has the number or letter that you want.
For example, the 2 key on the remote will give these options when pressed repeatedly:abc2ABC.

You may also try connecting a keyboard to the receiver by using the usb port. The few usb keyboards that I have tried worked.
