I have seen mounts like that.
usually for roofs that you cant drill into to keep them still in the wind, they have places to put hadock(sp) blocks for weight.

the gas station near my house has a large dish and a mount like this that straddles the peek of the roof

will get a pic of it, its cool  ;)

I agree Obsessive it is.I can see there being Bylaws put into place if too many of these Dish farms keep going up.Filling your front yard with dishes is probably not the best idea.Neighbors will complain and then comes the bylaw.The twelve foot mesh aluminum octagon dish that Hyper posted looks like mine.Anyone know what make it is?

What do you have strapped on the right side of that bud?

 ::) that's an OTA signal delivery system. Very few units shipped with that particular modification.... Its actually a Channel Master CM4221 TV antenna. I'm about 75-80 miles from the closest transmitters & I can't place an antenna close to the house because of trees. After much experimenting that's the only spot in the yard where I could get a strong enough signal on my local channels to be reliable. Maybe the dish acts as a conductor for the tv signal, it not only boosted my tv signal but it also works great as an antenna rotor.

here is my Dish Farm so far i just put up my first 4ft KU Dish setup yesterday and could not belive the channels i got on 103W and also on my 39inch dish with the ku lnb that i got in your ebay store

WOW - that is quite a dish farm you got going on there rockforu2! Thanks for sharing the pics.  I noticed you got a bunch of OTA antenna's too.

I cant stop looking at pic #3.

All those coax cables running everywhere. I think how cool is that! You got a lot of channels coming in off all that stuff.

And then i think i need to come over with wire-ties and organize it. lol.
