Guide to Member ID Color Status + Post Count Based Groups

For those who are wondering why some members have different userid's in different colors in the member list.

RED = Administrator

BLUE = Super Moderator

GREEN = Moderator

BROWN = Know's FTA

PURPLE = Honored Member

BLACK = Visiting Moderator



These color groups are assigned by the ADMIN only.

We also have Post Count Based Groups.


This is applied automatically based on how many posts you have.

Here is the breakdown:


New Member  =  0-24 Posts

Member  =   25+ Posts

Full Member  =  50+ Posts

Hero Member  =  100+ Posts

Super Member =  250+ Posts

LFTA Legend  =   500+ Posts

So of course Post Count Based Groups is earned automatically based on your participation in the forum  (# of posts).


Member ID Color Status is different.


Admin, Moderator, Super Moderator is all for those who work here.


If you are a Visiting Moderator, you get this status by contacting us and letting us know you are a Moderator on another FTA Forum.


Know's FTA Status is given to those who have been here a long time, post alot, help others out, and exhibit a good working knowledge of FTA stuff.


Honored Member Status is for those who go above and beyond Know's FTA status. Industry Legends, Experts, Manufacturers, Pioneers, etc...



So that explains it for you.


You can nominate others for Know's FTA or Honored member status.

FYI - the Member ID Color Status for "Know's FTA" members has been changed to BROWN.

The previous ORANGE color was kinda hard to see against the forum board background color.

A forum member alerted me, and i agreed, so the change was made.

So if you use to be ORANGE and now you a BROWN you know why.
